December 17, 2003 - Today is the 100th anniversary of the Wright
Brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Read all
about it!
November 10, 2003: Free online
music lessons from the Berklee
College of Music.
October 30, 2003: Big Thanks to Jason
Kirtley for all the help!
October 8, 2003: Aww, GAAH!! Save
some for later, little dude! [update!]
September 18, 2003: DRIFT is
some pretty cool Flash. And this
game is gonna be popular...
September 17, 2003: I just had to make an appearance to let you know that after
more development time than I care to admit right now, Odd
T0dd's Cookay Slots is LIVE! Oh, man - now I will have a few more hours a
week to get a life. Got any ideas?
August 30, 2003: The BBC is
putting 70 years of programming on
the web for free.
August 5, 2003: Thanks to the (currently) three pocket pc software websites selling
my games: Handango, Pocketland.de and PocketGear!
July 19, 2003: The
Recording Industry Association of America's attack on US culture has escalated
at an alarming pace this week. As Boycott-RIAA's
founder Bill Evans notes, "there are more file-sharers than voters for either
candidate at the last Presidential Election".
June 5, 2003: Very tasty cutting-edge
3d Flash design experiments from this korean Artist. (Doesn't work in all
browsers but really cool if you can catch it)
May 29, 2003: "US scientists have found that regular players of shoot-em-ups,
such as Half-Life and Medal of Honour, have much better visual skills than most
of the population." Link
at BBC - Now, if I only had more time to play some...
May 8, 2003: Finally! Flexible
electronic displays - Tree futures on the rise...
May 7, 2003: Staying busy with work and projects - finishing up another game
for odd T0dd and started
working on Midway again.
April 24, 2003: I hate getting political here, really, but I just noticed that
as Iraq
becomes a little more like the US, the US
is becoming a little more like Iraq.
April 21, 2003: scaled.com -
Burt Rutan's SpaceShipOne is the dawn of the first commercial manned space program.
March 30, 2003: During these tense times, Google
News has been a good friend. When I'm extremely busy, I can just go to the The
Iraqometer.
March 14, 2003: Going Wireless: With the help of my friend/neighbor, I have set
up a wireless network to share his DSL Internet connection (and for gaming, why
not?) and it's working pretty well. If it continues to work well I am planning
on telling the phone company to go away.
It's not for kids but I want to give a quick shout out to Augenblick
Studios for raising the bar on Flash animation.
Since it will be celebrated this weekend, I'm going to wish my gentle readers
a Happy
St. Patrick's Day a little early.
February 20, 2003: Yaay it's my Birthday! The Girlfriend is cooking dinner and
taking me to see the Cathy Irwin/Neko Case show tonight! Girlfriend Rocks!
February 11, 2003: Before I got cable TV I thought that I would enjoy Battlebots.
I was wrong. Suggestion: More computer-controlled bots; less radio-controlled
circular saws. For more interesting RC combat, try The
Australian Battle Group Inc.
February 1, 2003: Very saddened by the loss of Columbia and her crew. Please
remember them.
January 1, 2003: Happy New Year! It looks like it is going to be a good one...
